the requirements. how hard being a staff member is. it's a bit more complicated than you may think it is. no, it's not filling out a form in an audition and then you're a staff member, although there are auditions occasionally if we're short on staff and we just aren't sure if anyone qualified really wants to become one. pretty much, you just need to express matury and literacy in everything you do. also, being good friends with me is most definitely a plus. proof of your experience is sometimes nice, but we're not exactly asking you to post your links all over our pms and cbox. there's a section for that in the auditions if you'd like to show us your work. if you're interested in being a designer or helping out with coding, you might want to open up a graphics shop. just plain being involved, being kind, and being mature is all it takes. then, if we need more staff members, we'll most likely talk to you about it and set something up, whether you become an advertising moderator or a co-administrator. the opportunities aren't necessarily endless, but there are opportunities!
now that you know the beginning of likeliness to being chosen, you'll probably want to know what opportunities and staff positions there are, yes?

the administrators. discover how immensely special and awesome they are. current administrators. august. activity requirement. extremely active.
it may seem that we sit on our butts and tell people what to do most of the time, but really, we're not. we have to deal with lots of stuff, as well as writing up this whole place c: (*coumegh*). it's all worth it in the end, though. success and satisfaction! pretty much, we monitor everything, separate fights, and do everything every other staff member does if necessary. an administrator must, indeed, have multiple abilities; this is crucial to the survival of the site. as you read the descriptions of every other staff member, keep in mind the adminsitrator, for this is what he or she is. the site. the maintenance. the everything. and yet, he or she still needs help; we must be humble enough to accept that...

the designer. the epicsauce people for you to respecttt. current designer. frappé. activity requirement. active.
i like to relate the designer to the queen in a chess game: she can do whatever the heck she wants -- in fact, this position is even granted the basic moderation skills if necessary. pretty much, the designer is in charge of the graphics and skin... if she does it well and changes thing up at least once every five months, she should be in no danger of losing her position.

global moderator. the moderators of the world. jk. but they're uberly uber. current global moderator. none. activity requirement. very active.
global moderators are, indeed, global moderators -- their name pretty much speaks for themselves. instead of being a mere minimod over one or two boards, they have a major responsibility to fill up: the whole forum. they can update the headers and footers, delete members, access and modify profiles, and all that jazz. overall, they just need to make sure the site is under control; that includes accepting biographies and advertising if necessary.

the advertiser. no description quite fits this epic figure. current advertiser. none. activity requirement. active.
their purpose is pretty clear: they advertise! not only do they do that, but they pretty much manage the whole advertising area and make sure all of the sites are following the rules. they can even update and accept affiliates. they must pm me, the main administrator, their statistics; the amount of sites they advertised on, affiliated on, et cetera. they must meet the monthly quota of thirty advertised sites. having an advertiser is helpful, but not exactly necessary unless the other staff members are caught up in their work (coughothemainadmingetslazycough); then we will hold an audition or request a specific, responsible member to become one.

biography moderator. am i repeating epic too much? not for staffers. bio mods are epic. current biography moderator. none. activity requirement. active.
the biography moderator's job is pretty obvious. they go over biographies and make sure all of the requirements are filled up. then they accept them and move them over to the appropriate board. see? simple.
