Dainty, chocolate hued paws traversed the rough surface that was the concrete sidewalk beneath them. A vanilla colored frame bounced steadily as brilliant blue eyes scanned the scenery before her, standing out among a sea of chocolate fur. A long, satin tail whipped out behind her, trailing willingly as she navigated through the neighborhoods, exploring the newly found area. She wondered how it was that she'd come upon such a beauteous place, seeing that all of her life was spent in cardboard boxes or underneath garbage dumpsters.
Her fragile ears and delicate whiskers flicked slightly as her dark nose picked up the many aromas that hovered faintly around the area. It was late, and the sun had gone down some time ago, letting darkness take over for the hours that were the night. The cool air felt good across her face as a small breeze caressed her cheeks. She leaped up onto a stony brick wall, lowering herself to her elbows as her rump followed, her belly touching the cool surface as she laid upon the marble of the wall, turning her head to the sky as her tail swung back and forth idly. It was no wonder that a cat like Broadway would be out in such a peaceful place alone. After all, the neighborhood was ... well, exactly that - peaceful. A soft meow slipped through her teeth as she yawned and looked around for nothing in particular, thinking to herself. 'I wonder what Subeir would have done if I had stayed?' she thought to herself, already knowing the answer. He would have killed Krisis. And Broadway would not have tolerated that. But it was all in the past now, and Broadway couldn't allow her mind to revel in the choices she made. She shook the thoughts from her head and looked up to the sky. "Would it be different?" she asked no one in particular.

Silas silently padded along the sidewalk, eying the sky rats. All that the fat lard that Silas was could think about what he would eat next. He'd say that he's dying of starvation from just missing one of his several meals of the day. It's a wonder that he could even eat that much. It's a surprise that he was even in the shape in he's in now.
The tom's fluffed tail trailed behind him, flickering wildly. Silas swears that it has a mind of it's own. Sometimes, it would even smack his face while he was in the process of taking a bath. How annoying. Silas wish that he could have been born with a bobbed tail. There would be so much more he could do without his large, annoying tail constantly getting in his way. His honey orbs glanced back at the tail, cursing it.
"Would it be different?" Silas' ears perked, catching the voice of another female. He quickly pranced over to the origination of unfamiliar voice. Unable to see any other feline on ground level, Silas look towards the sky. After scanning the walls above him, his eyes settled upon the masked female. Ah, so many eye appealing nomads. This life may not be that bad. Silas smirked, allowing thoughts to train through his vast mind. Should he give this stranger the pleasure of having his acquaintance? Maybe he should just sit there like the odd ball that he is and stare like some creep? Oh, the possibilities.
Silas decided to be at least some good today and introduce himself. It couldn't hurt to not be weird every once in a while. Maybe he'll break this ugly shell that he's been wearing since the passing of Amaretto. Out of everything he learned from Amaretto, it was to leave the past behind and live life in the moment. Living in the moment was exactly what Silas was going to do. "Not meaning to intrude, miss. I couldn't help but over hear your out of head thinking." Silas said quickly, licking his teeth. "I'm Silas by the way. You're an unfamiliar face.." Silas seemed a bit hesitant. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. After all, socializing was alien to this tom. A sigh escaped his lips. I have to do this. For me and for Arm.

Another yawn had escaped her lips when unknown company was brought to her attention. The familiar scent of a feline touched her nose, though the scent specifically was unidentified. Perhaps yet another acquaintance to add to her list. She turned her head around, watching the tom as he examined his surroundings. It was unknown to Broadway that he'd heard her speak. "Oh, hm, yes, it seems that my words do tend to slip out of my mind," she shrugged, though she was inwardly embarrassed with the fact that she'd been talking to herself loud enough that someone else heard her. "You aren't intruding, by the way," she added, any sense of sarcasm ceasing to exist in her voice. She stood up, arching her back as she stretched where she stood, her tail held high as it curled up and outward over her back. She returned to a seated position, watching him from above.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Silas. I'm Broadway," she cooed, looking over the multi-colored feline before her. She found herself quite allured and enticed by his long, silky fur. The way it seemed to surround him effortlessly was a mystery and a half to Broadway, but she liked the way it stuck out. It was different, and Broadway enjoyed different. Her brilliant blue eyes blinked as she peered down at him from atop the wall.

Oh, what a beautiful gal. Silas thought, tediously studying her as she stood up to stretch. His neutral, cool orbs taking in every bit of her. Now, this... This is what Silas' also enjoyed. Eye candy. Despite that he frowned at the idea of another relationship, he thoroughly enjoyed ever aspect of the female species. Their smell. Their attitudes. Their carriage. Every single thing about a female was so enticing. Like a siren beckoning a empty heart ridden sailor to their death, they hypnotized him. Soft coos and sweet, tender words flowed like sweet nectar from their parted lips. It was poison. Hell, even the two-legs know this. Silas has watched, one after another, they blindly fell into the ocean called loved. Each and everyone of the drowned just like the sailors in the stories. Silas drowned and was made into a new cat. The new him was far better than the old. Although, not all who drown are reborn into something better. Silas was lucky.
Silas smiled, exposing his pearly teeth."Well, Miss Broadway." Silas paused, allowing a warm puff of to air escape, "It is quite the pleasure to make your acquaintance." He continued, lowering his tuft covered head. Something about this particular female brought out the gentleman in dear Silas. This tub of fluff was usually seen laying around on the streets, playing with death and mocking life. No, not today. This Broadway was different. (or so it seemed) Never the less, Silas had high hopes of striking gold with this girl. She seemed like quite the conversational one and Silas sure loves himself a good talk with a fellow feline. Silas turned around in a tight circle, facing back up at Broadway. He tilted his head, motioning at her, ."Mind if I join ya?" He questioned, eyes filled with a small glimmer of hope.
Oh how Silas hopes that he made the right choice in talking to this gal. He really isn't one to make the first move in introductions. With this one, he felt that he just had to do the talking first or he would miss his chance with her. Those eyes. They look like a perfect reflection of the ocean on a calm day. Silas broke his gaze at her and looked down at himself. A heavy sigh heaved from his chest and escaped from his lips into the air. He thought that he was beautiful. For a narcissist, it is very, very hard to admit there are others who exceed your beauty. And Broadway, she was one of them. Silas wouldn't even hesitate for a millisecond to say so. She was perfect in his eyes. Silas found himself to be quite jealous of this gal. He couldn't compete with her in looks. Silas gracefully lifted a paw to his lips and licked it before swiftly swiping it repeatedly over his head. Time for a quick bath.

A soft sigh escaped Broadway's lips as the tip of her tail flicked idly, her glowing eyes flashing dimly in the dark light. Silas was very ... gentlemanly, and it struck something deep within Broadway that even she wasn't aware she could feel. It was a sliver of security. 'Don't trust him so easily, darling, for he could be just as deceiving as the last, her mind whispered. But something about Silas had Broadway convinced that he wasn't out to hurt or deceive her, or anything of the sort. It seemed that he just wanted a bit of company. And that, Broadway didn't mind. "Darling, the pleasure's all mine," she replied softly, licking her dark lips as she stood up and stretched once more. It was so inviting to just lay down and doze off on the marble surface of the brick wall, but Broadway was much less naiive. If anything, she'd much rather climb up a tree first. She let her tail coil up and over her back once more as she dropped to her elbows momentarily, a yawn escaping her jaws before she stood back up and then sat down. "Join me? I wouldn't mind at all," she giggled softly, a smile emerging across her satin lips. She moved down along the wall, giving him some leeway to jump up. She let her rump fall once more to the smooth surface of the bricks, her vanilla hued fur shimmering gently in the night. Broadway brought a single, dainty, chocolate paw up to her lips, letting her pink tongue wash over it before she wiped her face a few times, almost mimicking Silas. "So tell me, tom cat," she paused to lick her paw again and wipe her face a couple more times before finishing her face wash. "what brings you to these parts?" she finished, looking into his caramel gaze. Something about his gentle, warm features sent a small shiver down her spine, and the sense of security returned once more.
